My Thoughts on Ken and Matt
I had a great experience working with Ken and Matt on my family's financial plan. They are very knowledgeable, and this becomes apparent very quickly as you start speaking with them.
Ken has been in the industry for over 30 years and this definitely shows with his high level of knowledge. Matt also did an excellent job preparing our plan and taking his time to explain all the components of our income and retirement plan.
Another critical thing that I really like about their team is that they don't sell any investment products, so you know that you're getting unbiased financial advice, as opposed to hearing a cleverly disguised sales pitch that is made to look like a "financial plan".
Our situation was fairly unique, and a bit complicated (due to our corporation). Yet, they were able to model it out successfully in the financial planning software, and take us through multiple scenarios so that we could choose which one is the right fit for us.
They were generous with their time, and definitely put in the required effort to properly understand our situation so that they could make the correct recommendation.
They offer a free initial meeting to Build Wealth Canada listeners, so definitely give them a shot and see if they are a good fit for you. I would be shocked if they weren't.
